XING is the leading career network in the German-speaking world, connecting over 21 million users. The challenge? Make job hunting feel less like a chore and more like an opportunity. The mission? To help people find a job that makes them happy.
XING dared to reframe the experience, not by sugarcoating it, but by making it more human. Their choice to blend career tips with humor, memes, and real conversations was a bold move in an industry known for being overly formal and buttoned-up.
We developed a B2C and B2B strategy that merged recruitment with relatable, interactive content. Using insights from the community and the field. We gather learnings through community management and speak with recruiters, top voices, and internal stakeholders to ensure the content resonates with all target groups. Turning insights from the community into engaging, informative, and sometimes hilarious content.
By mixing career tips with humor, industry insights with memes, and job advice with real conversations, we made XING more engaging, while maintaining brand consistency. And it worked, our strategic approach won a German Brand Award, proving that career content doesn’t have to be boring. It just has to be done right.
“Together with XING, we developed engaging and interactive content, with each channel having its own strategy. XING’s social platforms connected with talented users, inspiring them to find more happiness in their work lives, using insights from the German social media landscape and online expertise.”
